Auditions: Virtual

All In-person Auditions will be held at
India American Cultural Assocition (IACA)
1281 Cooper Lake Road,
Smyrna (Atlanta) GA 30082

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before our scheduled start time and report to me at the front desk. Please take that into consideration and plan for detours, if needed.
  • If you are using a karaoke track, your music needs to be in a mp3 format, on a pen drive or playable from your mobile device.
  • If you are planning to use a tanpura machine or play an instrument (such as a guitar), be sure that it has an audio output in case you want to play it through the audio system.
  • Please do have a back-up source for your music track.
  • The connectivity/WiFi signals are weak inside the auditorium. Therefore, do not plan on using a track from the internet.
  • Karaoke Music systems will not be allowed.
  • Maximum duration of a performance will be limited to 4 minutes. We will fade out the music after 4 minutes.
  •  ONLY Bollywood Hindi songs are allowed.

All Virtual Auditions will be held via Zoom meetings. Your Registation Coordinators will share the meeting link prior to your scheduled audition time.

  • Please join the zoom session 5 minutes before your scheduled audition time. Please wait for your turn to be admitted to the zoom call.
  • You will need 2 separate devices
    • Your background music should be playing on one device that is separate from the computer from which you are logged into the zoom call.
  • Make sure that your full name is displayed properly on your screen when you participate. Your name can be changed on the zoom screen by right clicking and rename.
  • Please join on time, and please be patient for your turn.
  • If you have not used zoom before, we will be happy to walk you through it. Please connect with us in advance.

  • Zoom link will be sent the day before the auditions. Please do not share the link, as it’s only for the participants. 

  • Important: Atlanta Indian Idol Management is not responsible for technical glitches during virtual auditions. We will however, try our best to sort through all issues.
